An Incident

"I was thoroughly reading my book when my brother called for a glass of lemonade. Always getting me do things, I decided to teach him a lesson. I stirred lots of salt in his drink. Suddenly, father yelled our canary had escaped. After catching it and feeling thirsty, I gulped the salt lemonade without thinking. My trick had backfired."
